YNW Melly Has Earned 16 Platinum, Gold Plaques Since 2019 Arrest

YNW Melly‘s recognition has risen exponentially since his 2019 arrest for double murder as he has earned a complete of 16 platinum and gold plaques since being incarcerated.

On Monday (June 12), journalist Bryson Paul shared a compiled record of YNW Melly tracks that the RIAA has acknowledged for reaching gold or platinums standing since February of 2019, when Melly turned himself in to face costs in connection to the taking pictures deaths of his buddies YNW Juvy (Chris Thomas, 20) and YNW Sakchaser (Anthony Williams, 21). The record (beneath) contains 10 platinum certifications and 6 gold certifications.

The YNW Melly Trial Lastly Begins

YNW Melly is dealing with two first-degree homicide costs in connection to the taking pictures deaths of his buddies, which occurred again on Oct. 26, 2018. Melly was arrested the next February, and has been sitting within the Broward County Jail awaiting trial for the final 4 years. In that point interval, he launched the albums Melly vs. Melvin (2019) and Just a Matter of Slime (2021).
