WIth luminaries like Chanté Moore, Avery Wilson, and Tank offering backup, Kenny Edmonds went by only a snippet of his decades-strong profession and catalog, performing his each personal classics (“Whip Enchantment,” “Take A Bow”), the classics he’s written for others (“Two Events,” “Not Gon’ Cry,” “Can We Discuss”) and tracks individuals could not know he had a hand in (The Deele’s “Two Events,” Fall Out Boy’s “Thnks fr th Mmrs”). Yeah, this entire set is ideal.
