Rory McIlroy completed the third spherical of the Memorial Event tied for first place alongside David Lipsky and Kim Si-woo.
McIlroy shot a two below par 70 on Saturday at Murifield Village.
With the lead shifting dramatically within the ultimate levels McIlroy goes into the ultimate spherical at six below par with Lipsky, who’s chasing a primary PGA Tour win, and Kim.
McIlroy, who started this event with a nightmarish triple bogey end to his first spherical, has labored his manner firmly into rivalry.
“I am feeling extra comfy than I felt at Oak Hill [at the PGA Championship]. I would not say I am 100 per cent. However I am battling and I am hanging in there.
“The course is enjoying actually robust,” he continued. “It is nearly making an attempt to place your manner throughout the golf course.
“However it feels higher. I did plenty of good work final week and, I preserve saying this, however I really feel like I am not preventing the membership face as a lot as I’ve been. From his place on the leaderboard, McIlroy believes he is in with “an important likelihood” of victory on the ultimate day.

“What I must do tomorrow is simply stick with that gameplan. To not attempt to get forward of myself, to not get too aggressive.
“If I stick with the gameplan that I’ve performed with the final three days, I will be in with an important likelihood.”
