Olivia Rodrigo has revealed that writing her new music Vampire helped her course of emotions of “remorse” and “anger”.
The 20-year-old singer launched Vampire, the lead single from her sophomore album Guts, on Friday.
To mark the event, Olivia shared behind-the-scenes clips and pictures of her writing the music along with her frequent collaborator Dan Nigro and capturing the video with director Petra Collins.
Within the caption, she wrote, “Vampire music and video out no. I made it with my very proficient fantastic pal @dan_nigro final winter and created the video with the unimaginable @petrafcollins . scripting this music helped me kind by means of numerous emotions of remorse, anger, and heartache.”
She continued, “It is one in all my favourite songs on the album and it felt very cathartic to complete. im so blissful it is in your palms now and I hope it helps u take care of any bloodsuckers in your life. all my thanks 4ever (sic).”
