Nick Cannon Defends His Large Family And Admits His Lifestyle Is Not “Typical”
Nick Cannon has defended fathering 12 kids with six totally different moms.
Whereas talking to People for an interview revealed on Saturday, the TV persona opened up about his unconventional household dynamic.
“I perceive that my way of life isn’t typical to society and might be seen as unorthodox in some methods,” he instructed the outlet. “However my purpose in life is simply to like my youngsters and be there for my youngsters and supply for them. Like I at all times say, I simply love with abundance.”
Nick argued that regardless of the “narratives on the market about me and my life,” he stays assured in his selections as a dad or mum.
The star shares 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey, son Golden, daughter Highly effective Queen and child Rise with Brittany Bell, twins Zion and Zillion, and toddler Stunning with Abby De La Rosa, child Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi, child Onyx with LaNisha Cole, and child Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott.
Nick and Alyssa’s son Zen sadly died on the age of 5 months following a battle with mind most cancers in December 2021.
“Some people just won’t subscribe or understand because they’re not supposed to,” the 42-year-old continued. “It’s the life that I’ve been given, and I select to stay this fashion and love my household, love my youngsters.”
Explaining that he believed he was “placed on this planet” to “information and usher in” his kids, Nick gushed, “So fatherhood is my primary and first precedence once I open my eyes once I rise up each morning. Profession and work and all of that, take second.”
