So far as precise new Palms materials, Moreno revealed in a 2020 interview that it’s not out of the question. It is simply tough along with his schedule, possible moreso now that Crosses is lively once more.
“We did it with the intentions of it not being a band… It was simply enjoyable,” he stated. “I am hanging out with my buddy [Aaron Harris], we’re simply experimenting and making music. But it surely wasn’t like a band. It was a bunch of music that they’d already been jamming on and I simply sang over what that they had.
“I did not have any half within the creating of the songs themselves or no matter or taking part in guitar. Finally we performed stay and I performed guitar and I felt just like the stay model of that so much higher as a result of it was extra bombastic and dynamic I believe. However yeah, it was powerful as a result of the expectations of what that might have been. I personally felt a little bit bit let down. So if I felt that approach, then I do know that plenty of different individuals should have felt that very same approach too.
“However that being stated, I am glad I did it. It was tremendous enjoyable and we really wrote a number of songs now—ones that we did collectively as a gaggle—and we most likely obtained like 4 or 5 tunes of those who we began engaged on, that we have achieved some recording on them really; after which type of paused it out as a result of I needed to go in and do a Deftones report or no matter. We weren’t in a position to get round to it.
“We nonetheless could in some unspecified time in the future, as a result of clearly the songs are there and it is type of as much as me to write down some extra vocals and stuff over it. However its really much more a mixture of Isis and Deftones kind of factor, its much more guitar-driven I suppose you’d say—distorted guitar, dynamic.”
